There are drop-off times we ask parents to avoid, such as morning circle time, as teachers are not as available to ease your child's transition into the classroom.
Curriculum : NCCDC Preschool Teachers practice a child-led, play-based curriculum. We believe that children learn best through play. We provide a rich and varied environment and allow children to explore at their own pace, according to their own interests. Through the structure of the daily schedule and variety of activities, we encourage varied modes of exploration: individual, large and small group, visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile. Each month's activities are organized around a theme. Art, science, toys, tactile opportunities, cooking, songs and imaginative play are planned to support the theme.
