Our School

For over 40 years NCCDC has resided in in the heart of the historic Irvington neighborhood at 1624 NE Hancock Street, Portland, OR 97212.

Our classrooms have large windows with lots of natural light and a secure outdoor play area with a play structure, natural areas, and lawn for year-round play.

Onsite and street parking is available, though many families live nearby and choose to walk or bike to school. NCCDC is close to the Irvington, Alameda, Sullivan’s Gulch, Eliot and Lloyd neighborhoods.

Our Building

The school resides inside the west wing of the historic Westminster Presbyterian Church, though we are not church affiliated. The entrance is located on NE Hancock St. and our school is secured with a multi-access point security system, to protect the safety of our children. Tours are available by appointment only and all visitors must be escorted by a staff member.
